Last Days of Preschool

It's almost moving day, which means these were Amelia's last few days at her preschool. Right when she met her teacher, Ms. Susan, in August, she fell in love with her and wanted to go to preschool every single day.
Amelia especially enjoyed all the hands-on experiments, learning new concepts and making new friends. She also improved greatly her fine motor skills and is now ready to be a Kindergartner. I'm just not so sure if I'm ready for that...wasn't she just yesterday a tiny newborn???
These 5 girls became quickly friends and I know, Amelia will miss seeing them daily.
Vera, Leona, Amelia, Sophia, and Nia

Every day the girls had so much fun at preschool: they enjoyed playing with their Little ponies, creating tons of beautiful artworks, discovering new things, learning more social skills and improving their reading, writing and math skills. It was a year full of fun, laughter and learning.
Because Amelia's birthday is during the summer break, she was happy to have an early birthday celebration on Friday at school. We baked some banana chocolate chip muffins and brought in some fruit and drinks and called it a party.
Happy Birthday to you:
Each of the girls drew her a birthday picture, which were compiled in a folder. Such a sweet idea!
Since she only has one more day at preschool before we are moving, this will probably be the last picture of all 5 girls together.
Amelia also brought in a little goodbye present for her favorite teacher. Ms. Susan will be dearly missed!
For the past few nights, I have been working on a photo book for Ms. Susan as a year-end gift from her class, and I loved looking thru all the pictures. The girls had a fantastic year and she is truly the best!
Monday is Amelia's last day of preschool. We are moving a couple of weeks before the end of the school year, so unfortunately she won't be able to attend her Preschool Graduation. However, the photographer took a picture in April of them in their graduation gowns and I just love how grown up she looks in it. She is ready to embark on a new journey: to make new friends at her new school when she starts Kindergarten in August.
So off you go, my little girl!
