EU Conference in Rotterdam

Our conference began on a Tuesday evening with a welcome reception and buffet dinner for our distributors. While the night ended for many people at the bar, I retired relatively early (11pm) to my room as I needed to be up and going the next morning by 6:30am.
Getting ready in those state rooms reminded me of old movies:
All day on Wednesday, there were presentations and workshops. Our CEO giving the Company's State of the Union:
For the evening, we had reserved the famous NY Hotel and bar for a 5 course menu for our customers.
Even though the Dutch people are not really known for their cuisine, the food every night was outstanding. The bartender won several awards too.
The next morning, we invited all of our distributors to a plant tour and hands-on workshops to our Dutch facility:
On Thursday night, we took the water taxi, right from the SS Rotterdam to the EuroMast, where we hosted the dinner for that night. Even though it was just a few minutes, the ride can get pretty wild.
The EuroMast is an 340 ft. tall observation tower, which houses a restaurant in 315 ft. The view but even more though the sunset on one side and then the blood moon rising over the city on the other side of the tower was spectacular. I took all these photos with my cell phone:
Rotterdam Harbor view: The port of Rotterdam is Europe's largest harbor and the world's tenth- largest in terms of annual cargo tonnage and employs more than 180,000 people.

Sunset over Rotterdam:
The moon rising between the buildings:
I found some shoes that will fit me forever:
This concludes our EU conference 2018. On Friday afternoon (after a few business meetings), we grabbed our bags and headed to Amsterdam, were we spent the next 36 hours; just enough time to sight see. In case you think business travels is all fun and glorious, just look at those pictures. This was us sitting on our luggage in a train during an international conference call. In those 2 weeks of being in Europe, I switched hotels/ locations every two days, took 2 flights and several train rides across countries.
