Mini Cheer Camp

After waiting for two long weeks for this day to arrive, today Amelia finally was going to a Mini Cheer Camp hosted by the local high school. She was so excited and ready to go. She even wore her new cheerleading dress (And yes, we may have to become Tennessee fans if they keep playing that well):
There were at least 200 girls (ages 4-10) present at the Cheer Camp, including two of her classmates.
Amelia, Chloe and Greilyn
For 3 hours, the girls practiced cheers and steps and at noon all the parents were invited back for a short performance of their newly learned skills. My sideline view with a hot cocoa and a great book by Glennon Doyle Melton.
Getting ready to perform:
First up were the high school cheer leaders and today's teachers: Go Commandos!
Then it was the 4 and 5 years old turn. Go Amelia!

Smiling from ear to ear after her performance:
Mommy and her future cheerleader:
Posing with the school's insignia (Hendersonville High):
My girl had a great time and loved showing off her cheers. She already asked if there is another Cheer Camp next week...lol. I think we might be in trouble.
