While I was in Paris, the kids stayed with their grandparents. Elliot was at my mom's and Amelia at my dad's in Berlin. According to the pictures and stories, they both had an enjoyable weekend and hardly noticed that I was gone.
Amelia and Opa took a trip to the toy store on Saturday:This girl loves when it rains (or drizzles) because then she can use an umbrella.
Of course, both kids had to cheer on the German soccer team in the match against Italy:
On Sunday, Amelia went once again to the children and youth's leisure center (FEZ) with her Opa. But instead of riding the choo choo train, they explored the activity center inside and out. On the weekends, the FEZ offers a great variety of children activities such as an indoor playground, boating, a tropical house with different animals, and nature explorations.

Picnic on a park bench:

Next, Amelia walked in the footsteps of a wolf and wore his skin:
And then she explored a beehive, learned about bees and tasted some honey:
What a fun weekend it was for the kids. Thank you, Oma and Opa for taking so good care of my children while I was away. It was't easy lieaving them, but we all enjoyed our time alone.
